This high-grade oolong is velvety and crisp with chestnut notes. Tender leaves are basket tossed with gentle care immediately after harvesting to rupture the cells of the leaves for semi-oxidation.
These leaves may be steeped more than once so it’s perfect if you want to drink multiple cups of tea while you work or chat with friends!
Certani high-grade oolongs are named after the Iron Goddess due to a centuries old story.
It is said that a very poor farmer cleans, restored and looked after a ruined temple that was dedicated to Time Guan Yin and so the Iron goddess showed her gratitude to the farmer by rewarding him with a rare tea plant.
