For each card, author’s Karen Storminger and Stephanie Woodfield provide a description and connections to folklore, a divination meaning, a spell and prose. Beautiful and bold artwork by Naomi Cornock are nature-based and done in watercolors and ink. Cornock is a very environmentally conscious artist who choose to work with watercolors as opposed to petroleum based Acrylic and oil paints because they create micro plastics as they degrade; she also uses acid-free watercolor paper and bamboo paper. She hopes that in her work people will find a deeper connection to the natural and magical world we are privileged to live in.
