Cacao Tea


Martha Washington drank this “tea” of cacao shell for it’s interesting flavor and health benefits. Caffeine-free; its theobromine content gives a gentle energy boost while relaxing the body and supporting brain, respiration and circulatory function.
Cacao started being imported to North America around 1682, esteemed for it’s affordability to all classes; an unknown European noted- “drinking cocoa is the most substantial of any food or berate in the world because whoever drinks a cup of this can go through the day without taking anything else”!
